Red
The hammer and the sickle,
The Russians weren't fickle,
They had the flag,
That was very industrial.
Agricultural too,
Put across,
Red was the color,
Communism the boss.
A symbol so strong,
Could comrades be wrong?
But it really didn't last,
For much too long.
Soviet Union,
Russia too,
In a place in which,
The rubles ruled.
A political theory or system,
Property was not owned,
A classless society,
In which capitalism,
Was not known.
Left-wing,
Revolutionary,
Subversive.
