Enjoy Splendor
Lava lamp,
A volcanic splendor,
It's in your bedroom,
More fun than a blender.
When you hit your funny bone,
Grab your security blanket,
Your elbow will hurt,
But don't feel the panic.
Don't feel the panic,
Do not feel the panic,
Life's too short,
To think so frantic.
Days and nights,
To follow them through,
Then years go by,
What did you prove?
Being a super hero,
That would be grand,
The "S" on your shirt,
Won't make you seem bland.
But you may lose,
Or you may win.
It tells you where,
You haven't been.
