My Three Pound Universe
This tune had to be written,
I took it from inside,
From the three pound universe,
I have as my guide.
I borrowed from myself,
Using words and some phrases,
Could I say to you?
That it simply amazes?
If a man could write down,
His every word and thought,
He'd never take back,
The material he's got.
Just like me,
Now do you see?
Prolific is the term,
Because of our energy.
All right,
I ask,
Is that it?
Can I go now?
Through the door,
Marked exit?
Until next time,
It's sure been fun,
Is that all there is?
I think the battle's been won.
