To Settle Creative Dust
There's no oasis,
When you're radio unfriendly,
It's not sold in stores,
Can't share it with contempories.
Sing the telephone book,
'Cuz there really are no rules,
Pass the litmus test,
Mount the mechanical bull.
This isn't a stick up,
Or a diamond in the rough,
I love open mike night,
To settle creative dust.
Unmake conversation,
It comes as fast as it goes,
With vocabulary,
The left lobe is exposed.
