A Monkey's Uncle
Oh, I'd be a monkey's uncle, Swinging on trees, In the jungle. If I had fur, It would be for sure, That I am a primate, Isn't that great? Non-human, Medium-sized, Of course, I'd probably still get by. But baboons are not called apes, In a tropical place. I may live thirty years, I'd be your pet, Get to know me, I'd be your best friend yet. Just monkey around, And make mating sounds, That I need company, It seems so profound. Old-world monkey, New-world monkey, You don't live with people, You are so lucky. Monkey see, monkey do.
