Studio Mike
So to speak,
I want to create,
Recording my voice,
Of which I will seek.
Vibrating diaphragm,
Electrical signals,
It's known as a mike,
And used in the studio.
Amplify me,
Capture my presence,
I'm really into,
The music profession.
I don't get paid,
And no one even cares,
Even if I had tattoos,
Or shaved off all my hair.
Acoustic power,
Into sonic waves,
From magnetic tape,
To digital today.
Carbon mike,
Or condenser mike,
Omni-directional,
Dynamic mike,
Ribbon mike,
Or a mike that's crystal.
