Grandfather and Granny
Grandfather clock,
Granny Smith apple,
Are they part of your family?
In your house or in the orchard?
Grandfather clock,
Loves Granny Smith,
They're spread apart,
This is no myth.
And Granny Smith,
Loves Grandfather Clock,
They both wish,
That they could talk.
He chimes to her,
Every half hour,
It goes off loud,
To where the apples are sour.
So, as you can see,
Granny Smith likes some company,
And so does Grandfather clock,
Keeping time happily.
