Chocolate Eyes
What is life's mystery? When we can't even try to guess, Go talk to the smart neurons, Inside the universe in your head. The sun gives us light, And I think that's all right, But don't ask the moon, Because maybe I just might. Chocolate clouds and rain, Crying like my brown eyes, But they finally get over it, And don't apologize. My hand is outreached, Looking for that tender girl, Where is she now? In my five fingered world? Now I need the closure, That a good life can bring, Feeling like a lost bird, Without any beautiful, feathered wings. Where do I go? To find my own true place? I know I must be close, To being on base.
